At issue: cost, cited as the main brake by 61% of households.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The French place increasing importance on their housing, but they often postpone their furniture projects. According to the Sofinscope study conducted by OpinionWay for Sofinco, 58% of French people consider their home to be a refuge, while 61% say that the cost is the main obstacle to their furniture purchases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong><strong>Housing has become a space of well-being<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The study shows that housing is now associated with comfort and well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>68% of French people want to refresh their interior decoration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>63% would like to improve their comfort at home<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These results show that housing development remains an important project for many households.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Furniture often remains a forced purchase<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite these desires for improvement, furniture purchases remain mainly motivated by necessity. According to the study:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>33% of French people buy furniture to replace worn or broken equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only 26% make a purchase for pleasure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Furniture expenses are therefore often deferred when the budget is limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The budget, the first brake on furniture projects<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The main obstacle to housing infrastructure projects remains financial. The study indicates that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>61% of French people cite cost as the first brake<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>85% say they encounter at least one barrier to their furniture projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These figures show that households are more likely to arbitrate their housing spending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To
