Thanks to the partnership with EDF, Agilauto’s individual and professional customers can now benefit from the CEE premium (Energy Savings Certificates) on eligible new electric vehicles offered by the Cr\u00e9dit Agricole group’s lessor.
Agilauto has decided to deduct the amount of CEE premiums directly from the rents of its leasing offers to simplify the access of its customers to this device.
This partnership is part of the memorandum of understanding signed between the EDF group and Cr\u00e9dit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility in October 2024 to affirm the joint will of the two companies to support the electrification of the car fleet in all territories in France.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUPPORTING THE TRANSITION TO ELECTRICITY FOR INDIVIDUALS, BUSINESSES AND COMMUNITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To offer CEE assistance to its individual, professional and business customers who are moving towards electric mobility, Agilauto has signed a partnership with EDF. Its objective is to encourage the use of electric vehicles by removing certain financial and administrative obstacles, thus contributing concretely to the decarbonization ambitions in the automotive sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This partnership strengthens the memorandum of understanding between EDF and Cr\u00e9dit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility, announced at the last Paris Motor Show, which aims to develop common solutions to support all French people in their transition to electric mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Energy Savings Certificates (CEE) are a French scheme aimed at encouraging the energy transition. Extended in July 2025 to the automotive sector, this system allows individuals, companies or local authorities who are customers of Agilauto to obtain a premium for the long-term rental of a 100% electric vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ONE OF THE MOST INTEGRATED CEE PATHS IN THE CUSTOMER JOURNEY OF CAR RENTAL COMPANIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to simplify access to EWC for its individual and professional customers and reduce the amount of rent, Agilauto has decided to integrate the CEE premium directly into the long-term financing of eligible electric vehicles. The lessor is thus among the first market players to centralize the creation of the EWC premium application file in its customer journey. The premium is thus fully transparent: its amount is directly deducted from the financing of the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This system is part of Agilauto’s proactive approach to orient its customers towards electric mobility. The rental company financed 46% of electric vehicles between January and September 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n

Relying on EDF as a partner for the CEE premiums was obvious. We wanted to integrate this system as much as possible into our customer journey to reduce the administrative burden on our customers and preserve the cash flow of professionals and companies. By simplifying this step and deducting this aid from the rent, we hope to encourage our customers to move towards electric mobility and especially professionals using commercial vehicles still mostly equipped with diesel engines.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n
