The Climate and Resilience Act, which aims to enable France to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030, compared to 1990, is reflected in the implementation of several measures to reduce the number of thermal sieves (housing classified E, F and G). The stakes are high and the objectives set by the Government are ambitious: increase the number of renovations to reach a rate of 900,000 efficient renovations per year, including 200,000 overall in 2030.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The renovation of housing is therefore a priority and we must encourage the French to take the plunge, even though many obstacles exist: poor knowledge of the available aid and complexity to obtain it, instability of public policies, funding difficulties, low number of craftsmen labeled RGE, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Given the scope of the subject, Sofinco, as a funder, wants to play a key role in unlocking thousands of renovation projects in France. By 2027, it aims to finance more than \u20ac3 billion in works, or around 300,000 renovations in four years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This will not happen without habitat professionals present in all the territories. Sofinco intends to help them focus on their core business and more quickly finalize the signature of renovation site specifications.

SOFINCO ECO-TRANSITIONS: A GLOBAL APPROACH BRINGING TOGETHER FINANCING, SERVICES AND ADVICE FOR ALL HOUSING PROFESSIONALS AND THEIR CLIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Sofinco will gradually build a catalog of financing solutions coupled with a range of services to bring more simplicity, fluidity and transparency to each renovation project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n A first financing solution will be launched in early November. This is an Intermediated bank loan offer that will allow new partners who do not have IOB status (Intermediaries in banking operations) to offer a financing solution to their customers. They will be able to manage their financing request independently via a full digital pathway developed by Sofinco and will receive an immediate agreement in principle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This new financing solution is the starting point for the Sofinco Eco-Transitions global offer, which will be enriched by a range of services, insurance, consulting, etc. during 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This Sofinco Eco-Transitions approach will be supported by more than 130 Sofinco employees dedicated to energy renovation and mobilized throughout France.<\/p>\n\n\n Even though the government aid scheme is accompanying the transition of the French housing stock, many renovation projects are on hold.
