CA Personal Finance & Mobility becomes Anah’s financial agent to advance the payment of MaPrimeRenov’
Since November 20, 2025, as part of the MaPrimeRénov’ scheme, public aid for energy renovation, Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility has become the first banking agent of Anah (Agence nationale de l’habitat).Sofinco, its commercial brand in France specializing in personal financing, will thus support craftsmen and their customers by advancing the MaPrimeRénov’ public aid, thus helping to support the renovation of housing throughout the territory. This initiative reflects the Crédit Agricole Group’s commitment to supporting all its customers in their energy transition, by offering them simple, reliable solutions tailored to their needs. To make renovation and energy sobriety accessible to all, Crédit Agricole has created “J’écorénove mon Logement” as well as a set of services to inform, guide and implement its customers’ projects.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO UNLOCK HOUSING RENOVATION IN FRANCE
The Climate and Resilience Act, which aims to enable France to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 20301, is reflected in the implementation of several measures aimed at reducing the number of thermal sieves (housing classified F and G) and thermal kettles. The stakes are high and the objectives set by the Government are ambitious: achieving carbon neutrality in housing by 2050.
Given the scope of the subject, Sofinco, as a funder, is multiplying initiatives to support the launch of renovation projects in France and aims to finance 1 billion annual works by 2028.
As a financial representative, Sofinco will advance the amount of MaPrimeRénov’ public aid for each eligible renovation project and pay it directly to the registered craftsmen with the RGE (Recognized Guarantor of the Environment) label – whether they are partners or not. This public aid can thus be deducted from the quote presented to the owner customer.Sofinco will also draw on the expertise of administrative agents, including Homelior.
Through this pragmatic system, the objective is to reduce the immediate remaining costs of owners so that they can start their renovation work more quickly. The advance of the aid will not be conditional on the subscription of Sofinco financing for the remainder of the costs.
Sofinco thus reaffirms its commitment to the fight against fraud and makes the payment of MaPrimeRénov’ to professionals more reliable. It allows its partner artisans to position themselves as trusted third parties and owners to be more serene.
SUPPORTING RGE CRAFTSMEN
71% of craftsmen believe that the steps to access public aid hinder the launch of their customers’ work2. The advance of aid is therefore a lever to reassure owners, strengthen confidence in craftsmen and thus boost the sector.
Sofinco now has more than 1,800 RGE artisans as partners. The latter will be able to benefit from his status as financial agent in the coming weeks. At the same time, Sofinco invites non-partner RGE artisans to express their interest and desire to engage alongside the financial institution on its website: pro.sofinco.fr
Many renovation projects eligible for public aid are not undertaken by the owners because they are often forced to advance the funds. By becoming a financial agent, we allow RGE craftsmen to deduct the amount of MaPrimeRénov’ from their quote and we remove a financial brake to accelerate the launch of construction sites. We hope to support the necessary transition of the French housing stock and allow as many people as possible to live in comfortable and less energy-intensive housing.
