Every three years, the Crédit Agricole Group organises the Crédit Agricole Omnisport Days (JOCA). From June 13 to 16, 2024, employees of Personal Finance & Mobility and its subsidiaries were part of the event and won in several disciplines.

First step: the selection weekend

From 22 to 24 March, the selection weekend brought together employees from the various subsidiaries of Personal Finance & Mobility, all driven by a passion for sport and competition. The goal was clear: to train the teams that will represent the company at the JOCA.
To guarantee quality selections, experienced coaches (Renaud Longuèvre, former manager of the French athletics teams, Eva Hamzaoui, manager of AS Monaco Volleyball and former player of the French Beach Volleyball team or Christophe Rémond, of the US Créteil Lusitanos) were present to evaluate the performances of the athletes. Their expertise and experience helped to identify the most promising talents, but also to advise and encourage all participants to give their best.
In addition to the sporting competition, this event has also strengthened the links between employees of the various international entities. It was an opportunity for them to meet, exchange and share highlights outside the usual professional setting.
This intensive weekend in Eaubonne will be remembered as a unique experience, combining competition, camaraderie and surpassing oneself.

Second stage: the weekend of preparation

The 68 athletes selected from all four corners of the group gathered in May for a final weekend of preparation before the competition. As the only international delegation in 2024, Personal Finance & Mobility was therefore in full swing, with athletes from Italy, Spain, Germany, England, Denmark, Portugal, Morocco and France. Together, they defied the language barrier with solidarity and mutual support, where everyone brought their energy and good humour. In total, about ten of its subsidiaries participated in eleven sports disciplines.
Each athlete had the opportunity to benefit from privileged moments with the coaches during the weekend in order to perfect his techniques and to surpass himself.
The weekend was not limited to the sporting competition. Moments of cohesion were organised through team building moments, offering employees the opportunity to exchange and strengthen their team spirit before the big meeting in June.

Result of the competition: a medal record beaten for Personal Finance & Mobility

After two days of intense competition, the selection of {Personal Finance & Mobility} returns from Brittany crowned with 9 medals, and thus beats its record of 2017.

The athletes won 4 gold medals (10 kilometres, Senior Secondary Football Tournament, Women’s Volleyball and Women’s Padel), 4 silver medals (20 kilometres in team, men’s Volleyball and mountain biking) and 1 bronze medal (women’s table tennis).

For them and for the accompanying volunteers – 3,800 people in total – the 2024 JOCA was much more than just a sporting competition. It is a great human adventure: the athletes have not only collected medals, but also memories and a strengthened team spirit.
