Sofinco strengthens its innovation momentum and launches a new call for projects approach for start-ups: “Sofinco Future Makers”

Sofinco, a major player in consumer credit in France, announces the launch of an ambitious initiative to strengthen its innovation capacity at the service of its customers and partners. With a renewed format, Sofinco Future Makers is a continuation of the Start & Pulse calls for projects made in recent years, which have allowed Sofinco to join forces with start-ups to bring out innovative solutions related to its businesses. This first edition will focus on innovation in the service of aging well.

Accelerating innovation to better serve

Sofinco Future Makers’ goal is to detect start-ups that can offer services that go beyond financing and enrich Sofinco’s customer experience, with simpler, faster, digitalized and personalized offers and services.

Through this initiative, Sofinco wishes to strengthen its collaboration with the ecosystem of innovative companies, by promoting the emergence of disruptive and concrete solutions to make innovation a strategic lever to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

Strategic support from the Village by – for this first call for Sofinco Future Makers projects

As part of this first edition of the Sofinco Future Makers call for projects, the Village by – plays a key role in supporting Sofinco in identifying, selecting and promoting start-ups that bring innovation.

This partnership involves several structuring steps:
• Official launch of the competition scheduled for October 1, 2025,
• Selection by the end of 2025 of 6 innovative start-ups to be finalists,
• Organization of the grand final in January 2026 to unveil the winning projects and promote exchanges with internal teams.

Thanks to this collaboration, Sofinco benefits from qualified sourcing and expert support, allowing the selected projects to be aligned with the operational needs of the Sofinco Lab. The network of the Village by Paris, recognized for its ability to detect the nuggets of tomorrow, gives the competition a professional dimension and enhanced visibility, promoting the emergence of concrete and innovative solutions within the group.

What are the criteria?

•    Mature start-up (from 1 to 6 years), already developed, operating in France, and equipped with a plug and play solution,
•    For this first edition, the theme chosen is aging well. Participating companies will have to propose concrete solutions to improve the quality of life of seniors, promote their autonomy, in order to respond to the societal challenges related to the aging population. Expected projects may focus on innovative services, technologies or business models, in line with the objective of guaranteeing the autonomy and comfort of our seniors on a daily basis,
•    The key is access to the Sofinco ecosystem, operational support and pooled resources for finalist start-ups.

A structured calendar

The Sofinco Future Makers program starts on 1 October 2025 with an application phase open to all French start-ups. The selection of projects will take place by the end of 2025, followed by a final in January 2026, during which the finalist start-ups will present their solutions before a jury composed of internal experts and the Crédit Agricole Group.
The goal is to roll out the winning solution in the first half of 2026, by integrating it into Sofinco’s offerings or devices.
