On February 3, 2026 in London, CA Auto Finance, a division of CA Auto Bank, appointed General Insurance Distribution Limited (GID) as its UK partner to support the distribution of general insurance products related to the automotive sector. The goal is to redefine customer engagement and decision-making after purchasing a vehicle.

A customer-centric car insurance distribution

Through this partnership, Auto Finance customers in the UK benefit from personalized insurance options through a combination of online tools and advisor support. A streamlined process helps them better understand their choices and make informed decisions about financial products after purchasing a vehicle, all before the end of their eligibility period.

By outsourcing distribution to GID, ₩Auto Finance reinforces its commitment to deliver a level of service aligned with the FCA’s compliance requirements (The Financial Conduct Authority in the UK).

A full range of asset protection products

Customers will now have access to an exclusive GID product that includes return-on-invoice insurance, ensuring vehicle owners financial protection in the event of a total loss.

They will also have the opportunity to subscribe to:

  • Flexi Gap Plus: gap insurance flexibilities
  • “Cosmetic repair” insurance: coverage for minor cosmetic damage, helping customers maintain the appearance of their vehicle
  • “Wheel and tire alloy” insurance: protection of wheels and tires against accidental and aesthetic damage
  • “Complete Wheel” insurance: a product combining wheel and tire protection

Flexible access arrangements for customers

The partnership includes several options for accessing insurance products:

  • Exchange with an FCA-approved advisor for a personalized assessment, with transparent and recorded discussions
  • Online shopping via secure digital platforms
  • Combination of the two approaches, combining human interaction and digital ease

This partnership between “Auto Finance” and GID marks a major development in the distribution of car insurance in the United Kingdom.
