Since 2021, CA Personal Finance & Mobility has been working alongside the Areli association to support the Emergence program, a mentorship initiative that each year helps scholarship students from the Hauts-de-France region in their academic and professional journeys.
Emergence is a mentorship program led by the Areli association, based in the Hauts-de-France region. Its goal is to enable young people from modest backgrounds, but with strong potential, to pursue their studies under good conditions and build a professional future that matches their ambitions.
Each year, between 30 and 50 high school graduates from the region join the program, within an ecosystem bringing together several partner companies. Selection criteria combine academic merit (high school honors) and the award of a CROUS scholarship, reflecting both achievement and the need for additional support.
Emergence is built on a dual commitment: financial and human.
On the financial side, the For Youth endowment fund, created by CA Personal Finance & Mobility in 2023, directly funds scholarships for the students supported by the company. This tangible material support allows them to focus on their studies without the constraints imposed by a difficult socio-economic context.
On the human side, each student is supported by a volunteer mentor from a partner company. This pairing is built over time through regular exchanges covering academic matters, career orientation, and personal development.
The matching process follows a structured approach: mentors and students complete detailed profiles about their personalities and backgrounds, then meet during a “speed meeting” day. At the end of this session, matches are made to form the most compatible pairs.
Feedback from both mentors and mentees is unanimous: the relationship formed throughout the program goes far beyond academic support. Mentors highlight the depth of the bonds created, the satisfaction of seeing their mentees progress, and the personal enrichment they gain from these exchanges.
On the students’ side, the program provides concrete support and a safe space to reflect, build confidence, and make informed decisions about their future. The program’s civic dimension—which actively engages young people in a culture of commitment—is also seen as a key strength.
Through this program, CA Personal Finance & Mobility reaffirms its belief that supporting younger generations is a concrete and sustainable lever for building a more inclusive society.
