Since 2022, the partnership between Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility and the association Elles Bougent has addressed a key challenge: promoting gender diversity and encouraging more young women to pursue careers in science, technology and IT. Although these fields are major drivers of innovation and professional opportunities, they remain significantly male-dominated today.
As part of this partnership, 22 female mentors from CA Personal Finance & Mobility, working in IT, finance and data-related roles, take part in dedicated initiatives.
Several times a year, the company welcomes groups of female students to its premises. These students are given the opportunity to discover a wide range of roles through the mentors, who share their career paths, day-to-day responsibilities and provide concrete insight into these professions. This programme has been carefully designed to combine theoretical learning with practical experience.
By sharing their experience, the mentors enable students to identify with real role models, gain a clearer understanding of these careers, envision themselves in fields that are still under-represented by women, and make more informed career choices.
This partnership forms part of a practical approach aimed at broadening horizons for young women by giving them the tools they need to project themselves into the future.
The shared ambition is to overcome self-censorship, build confidence and demonstrate that technical and scientific careers are accessible to everyone.
