Stéphane Priami, CEO of CAPFM, and Laïla Mamou, Director of Citizen Engagement and President of the Endowment Fund For Youth, were present at the Élysée on Wednesday, February 5, to support the association “Éloquence de la Différence” during a prestigious eloquence competition.

This event, which highlights the talents of young people with disabilities, is supported by CAPFM through its For Youth endowment fund, it reflects our commitment to youth and social inclusion.

The association “Éloquence de la Différence” helps young people between 14 and 35 years old to overcome the obstacles related to disabilities such as stuttering, trisomy 21 or autism, by offering them training in speaking.

Thanks to CAPFM’s support, these initiatives allow participants to develop their self-confidence and to fully flourish in society. By supporting this type of association, CAPFM affirms its willingness to actively contribute to a more inclusive society.

For the next 3 years, CAPFM supports several programmes:

  • Multi-Handicap programmes (without competition) address issues related to professional integration. They take place over 2 and a half months in 4 stages: training (20h): fundamentals of speaking and self-acceptance, practical workshops (10h): practice of fundamentals and preparation of real-life situations, support (2h): identification of individual problems of participants & solutions and Restitution (4h): oral presentation / simulation & development of a personalised toolkit (tools and resources applicable in personal and professional communications).
  • The Tous Eloquents programme (with competition) aims to promote acceptance and self-affirmation. It takes place for ~3 months in 4 stages: training (20h + 16h for certain disabilities): fundamentals of speaking and self-acceptance, practical workshops (50h): practice of fundamentals and preparation of real situations with a specific module on employment (collective workshop, 2 individual coaching sessions), coaching (30h) – not mandatory: individual monitoring by a volunteer coach (well-being of the candidate) and restitution (10-15h): writing and presentation of texts before a jury of trainers & employers.

If they are selected, the young people will participate in the national All Eloquent competition, the grand final of which will take place at Théâtre Mogador on June 17.
