François Abad is appointed CEO of Sofinco Spain

Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility has appointed François Abad as CEO of its Spanish subsidiary Sofinco. He succeeds Pierre Adam who has exercised his retirement rights.

His in-depth knowledge of the automotive industry and the many professions in the banking sector, including consumer credit, will be assets to support the development of Sofinco Spain, a young subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility, and position it as a reference in personal financing and mobility financing on Iberian soil.

Biography

François Abad began his career in 2002 as Insurance Product Manager at Mobilize Financial Services, a financing company of the Renault Group (formerly RCI Bank and Services). He stayed there for 16 years, during which he held various positions: Financial Risk Analyst, Head of Corporate Financial Relations, CFO of the Argentinian subsidiary in Buenos Aires, then Head of European Brand Partnerships (Nissan, Infiniti and Mitsubishi). In 2018, he joined the Crédit Agricole group and more specifically the Crédit Agricole Toulouse 31 regional bank as Deputy CFO. Aged 48, he holds a Master's degree in Market Finance (Toulouse School of Economics - TSE) and a Master's degree in Marketing (Toulouse School of Management - TSM).
