Athletes from the Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility group took part in the 11th edition of the JOCA
First step: the selection weekend
From March 22 to 24, the selection weekend brought together employees from the various CA Personal Finance & Mobility subsidiaries, all driven by a passion for sport and competition. The objective was clear: to train the teams who will represent the company during the JOCA.
To guarantee quality selections, experienced coaches (Renaud Longuèvre, ex-manager of the French athletics teams, Eva Hamzaoui, Manager of AS Monaco Volleyball and ex-player of the French Beach volleyball team or again Christophe Rémond, from US Créteil Lusitanos.) were present to evaluate the athletes' performances. Their expertise and experience made it possible to identify the most promising talents, but also to advise and encourage all participants to give the best of themselves.
Beyond the sporting competition, this event also made it possible to strengthen links between employees of the different international entities. It was an opportunity for them to meet, exchange and share strong moments outside the usual professional framework.
This intensive weekend in Eaubonne will be remembered as a unique experience, combining competition, camaraderie and surpassing oneself.

Second step: the preparation weekend
The sixty-eight selected athletes, from the four corners of the group, gathered in May for a final weekend of preparation before the competition. The only international delegation for 2024, CA Personal Finance & Mobility was therefore in full force, with athletes from Italy, Spain, Germany, England, Denmark, Portugal, Morocco and France. Together, they defied the language barrier with solidarity and mutual support, where everyone brought their energy and good humor. In total, around ten of its subsidiaries participated in eleven sporting disciplines.
Each athlete had the opportunity to benefit from special moments with the coaches during the weekend in order to perfect their techniques and surpass themselves.
The weekend was not limited to the sporting competition. Moments of cohesion were organized through team building moments, offering employees the opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen their team spirit before the big meeting in June.

Result of the competition: a medal record broken for CA Personal Finance & Mobility
After two days of intense competition, the CA Personal Finance & Mobility selection returned from Brittany crowned with success with 9 medals, and thus beat its 2017 record.
The athletes won 4 gold medals (10 kilometers, Senior Secondary Football Tournament, Women's Volleyball and Women's Padel), 4 silver medals (20 kilometers team, Men's Volleyball and MTB) and 1 bronze medal (Tennis feminine table).
For them and for the accompanying volunteers – 3,800 people in total – the JOCA 2024 was much more than a simple sporting competition. It is a great human adventure: the athletes collected not only medals, but also memories and strengthened team spirit.
